Care App terms of use

These terms apply when you use Care App by Dr. Anjana ("Care", "the app"). Care is run by Dr. Anjana Annal Healthcare, a proprietorship of Dr Anjana A, Chennai, India ("we", "us"). By using Care you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.

1. Care is information, not a diagnosis

Care gives general health information and helps you keep track of your periods, pregnancy, baby and wellbeing.

  • It is not a diagnosis and not a treatment plan.
  • Dates, fertile days, due dates and other numbers are estimates.
  • The fertile window is not birth control. Do not rely on Care to prevent pregnancy.
  • Always talk to a doctor about your own health. Do not delay seeing a doctor because of something in the app.

Using Care does not by itself make you a patient of Dr Anjana or create a doctor-patient relationship.

2. Emergencies

Care is not an emergency service. If you or your baby need urgent help, call 112 or go to the nearest hospital now. Care cannot send an ambulance, and the clinic does not watch your logs.

3. Who can use Care

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • Care is available in India only.
  • You need an Indian mobile number to sign in. Keep your phone and codes private. You are responsible for what happens on your account.

4. Clinic services

Care lets you send a request to Dr Anjana's clinic, for example to book a visit or ask for a second opinion.

  • A request is not a confirmed appointment. It is confirmed only when the clinic tells you the date, time and place.
  • Consultations, tests and treatment are given by Dr Anjana and her team under their own terms, fees and consent forms.
  • Care itself does not take payment for clinic services.

5. Care Pro subscription

Care Pro is an optional paid subscription that adds extra content and features.

  • Payment is taken by Apple through your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. We never see your card details.
  • Price: shown in the app before you buy, in Indian rupees, including applicable taxes.
  • Auto-renewal: your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (monthly or yearly) unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends, at the same price unless we told you of a change first.
  • Manage or cancel: on your iPhone, go to Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Care Pro until the current period ends.
  • Free trial: if a free trial is offered, any unused part ends when you buy a subscription.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's rules. Ask at reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • Deleting Care does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it in Settings too.
  • Restore purchases is in the app if you change phones.

Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

6. Using Care fairly

Please do not misuse Care: do not try to break into it, copy its content to sell, pretend to be someone else, or send anything unlawful or harmful through it.

7. Our content

The words, videos, illustrations and design in Care belong to us or to people who let us use them. You may use them for your own personal use only.

8. Changes and availability

We improve Care often. Features may change, and Care may sometimes be unavailable. If we make an important change to these terms, we will tell you in the app before it applies.

9. Our responsibility

We work hard to keep Care accurate and safe, but we cannot promise it will always be error-free. To the extent Indian law allows, we are not responsible for loss caused by relying on general information in the app instead of seeing a doctor, or by things outside our control such as network or phone problems. Nothing here limits any right you have under Indian consumer law.

10. Ending your account

You can stop using Care and delete your account at any time (Profile › Delete my Care account, or see support). We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction. Please write to us first; most things can be sorted out quickly.
