Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 July 2026
Dr Anjana Annal Healthcare respects your privacy and is committed to handling your personal information responsibly.
Information we may collect
When you use this website, contact us, submit a consultation request or request a free resource such as the "Before You Try" pregnancy-planning guide, we may collect information such as:
- Your name
- WhatsApp / phone number
- Email address (only when you choose to email us directly)
- City
- Preferred consultation type
- The service or medical concern you select
- A brief description voluntarily provided by you
- Your preferred appointment date or time
- Optional pregnancy-planning timeline (when requesting the guide)
- Your consent choices, including whether you have opted in to occasional WhatsApp updates
- Basic technical information required for website security, spam prevention and rate limiting (e.g. a temporary, hashed representation of your IP address)
Please do not submit complete medical records, highly sensitive personal information or emergency details through the website forms.
How we use your information
- Respond to your enquiry
- Contact you regarding a consultation request
- Help identify the appropriate consultation type or location
- Manage appointment-related communication
- Send resources or information you have specifically requested, including the pregnancy-planning guide delivered over WhatsApp
- Send occasional women's health resources and service updates over WhatsApp, only if you have separately opted in, and you can opt out at any time
- Maintain website security, prevent misuse and enforce short-term rate limits
- Meet applicable legal or regulatory requirements
WhatsApp delivery of the free guide
You may request the "Before You Try" pregnancy-planning guide by sending a WhatsApp message to our guide number. When you do, your WhatsApp profile name, phone number and the content of your message are processed by WhatsApp so that our team can send the requested guide back to you on the same WhatsApp conversation. We log inbound guide requests for delivery, support and abuse prevention. You can request deletion of your request record at any time by contacting the team. The guide is educational and does not replace a personal medical consultation. We do not send the guide by email.
Anti-abuse and rate limiting
To protect the service from spam and abuse, submissions are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile (a privacy-focused CAPTCHA alternative), short-term rate limits, and duplicate-submission prevention (so the same WhatsApp number is not requested repeatedly in a short window). We do not store raw IP addresses; a salted, hashed representation is stored only for as long as needed to enforce the rate limit and is purged automatically. You may request deletion of your guide request record at any time by contacting us.
Medical information and website enquiries
Submitting an enquiry through this website does not create a doctor-patient relationship and does not confirm an appointment. Medical advice, diagnosis and treatment are provided only through an appropriate consultation.
Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information.
Information may be shared only where reasonably necessary with:
- Dr. Anjana and authorised members of her support team
- Service providers that help operate the website, forms, email, hosting or security
- Professional advisers where required
- Government or legal authorities where disclosure is required by law
Service providers are expected to process information only for the services they provide and subject to appropriate safeguards.
Storage and security
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect information collected through the website. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Data retention
We retain enquiry information only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the request, manage follow-up communication, meet legal requirements or resolve disputes. Information that is no longer required may be deleted or anonymised.
Your choices and rights
You may request:
- Access to the personal information you have submitted
- Correction of inaccurate information
- Withdrawal of consent for future communication
- Deletion of information where legally and operationally appropriate
- Information about how your data has been used

Communication preferences
You may ask us to stop non-essential communications at any time. Appointment-related or service-related communication may still be sent where necessary to respond to an active request.
Cookies and analytics
The website may use essential cookies and limited analytics to understand website usage and improve performance. Analytics must not receive form contents, medical concerns, phone numbers, planning timelines, names, email addresses or other sensitive enquiry information.

The website may contain links to third-party services such as WhatsApp, Instagram, Google Maps, payment platforms or hospital websites. Their own privacy policies apply when you use those services.
